Today I made a simple card using the Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper and the Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set. The sentiment was embossed with White Embossing Powder onto one of the Tasteful Labels dies. Of course, you can't forget some bling so I added some sequins. 

And as Shelley, founder of Stampin' Up!® would say "no naked envelopes"

Terryfic Tag Tuesday!

Okay, here is my tag for today... 

I used the new Blessings of Home bundle for this tag. This bundle will be available in the upcoming January to June catalogue. Did you know that you can use your Wink of Stella for colouring? I hope to show you this technique in the near future. So the flowers were coloured with Stampin' Blends and Wink of Stella and attached to the Tailor Made Tag. The sentiment was embossed and some Evening Evergreen ribbon added to the back. The finished tag was added to the Ombre Gift Bag, but could also be added to a card front, or just give a bunch of them together as gifts. There are so many possibilities!

Ornaments

 Hey there Stampers! It's Friday!

For today's card, I used the Gingerbread and Peppermint Suite once again. I sponged the background with one of the Adorning Designs Masks. The sentiment is embossed in White Embossing Powder, and the ornaments were die cut in Real Red and white. All the elements were layered to give the card more interest and depth.

I hope you are having a great week so far

For today's card, I used the Shimmery White Embossing Paste and one of the Adorning Designs Decorative Mask.

To start, I took the paste and added some onto the Silicone Mat. Then I shaved some of the Soft Pastels Assortment onto the paste. I scooped it up using the spatula and dragged it across the mask onto the cardstock piece. That's where you will see that the paste is white in some places and darker blue in others. This technique gives you quite the variation. I hope you like it!

Okay, here is my tag for today...

I used the Penguin Place bundle for this tag. The penguin is punched out and I cut out the balloon. Both are adhered to the tag using dimensionals. The gifts are stamped in Pale Papaya. And the sentiment is stamped onto the banner from the Tasteful Labels die.

The finished tag could be added to a card front, a gift bag, or just give a bunch of them together as gifts. I added mine to a gift bag.

I can't believe that another month has gone by. Before you know it, it'll be Christmas 😐

Today I wanted to share a card that I made featuring the Soft Pastels Assortment. For this card, I stamped the ornaments in versamark, then I lightly went over them with the pastels using a sponge dauber. The pastel colour will grab to the versa mark and stick. If you want to make sure it's set, you can lightly spray the area with some hairspray.

CASE-ING The Catalogue!

Hey there Stampers! Today as you can see above, I'm case-ing the catalogue. So what does that mean?... (Copy And Share Everything!) I took one of the samples from the July to December catalogue and re-made it. Sometimes I will take the sample as a starting point and other times I will re-create it exactly. In this case, it is pretty much the same.

This card features Shimmery White Embossing Paste, Adorning Designs stencils, Gingerbread and Peppermint Suite. Enjoy!

My card today features the Gingerbread and Peppermint DSP. I cut out the mittens, and fun fact.... did you know that the star die fits the stars on the DSP... makes it so easy to cut out. For the card backgrounds, I used some Old Olive re-inker with some Rubbing Alcohol in a spritzer. And of course the Stitched Rectangle dies.

Gingerbread and Peppermint Pillow Box

 Hey there Stamper’s! Happy Monday!

I was playing with the new Pretty Pillow Box dies a couple of weeks ago. For this pillow box, I die cut it from the 6 x 6 Ginger bread and peppermint designer series paper. The ribbon was used as a belly band so that the flap of the pillow box can tuck right under. The bell was also cut from the DSP.

I'm Terry from Airdrie, Alberta, Canada

For this card I was looking through the July to December Mini Catalogue and I saw a sample card that I liked. I didn't have that particular stamp set so I substituted the Snow Wonder stamp set and dies. And I CASE'd the catalogue! This is a great way to get inspiration when needed, and sometimes although you may start out with one idea the final card may not turn out looking anything like your inspiration card. 

The snowflakes were embossed in white on the vellum and the sentiment was stamped randomly on the background. Add some sequins and voila!
