Shout out Sunday!

 Hey there Stampers!

Welcome to "Shout Out Sunday"! On these days, I'm excited to share projects that I've seen on the "inter-web" that have inspired me and I will give a shout out to the creator of that project.
Today, I wanted to share a card that was made by Lyssa at Song of My Heart. I love the simplicity and elegance of this card.

Stampin' Hop December Blog Hop - Most wonderful time of the year

Hey there Stampers!

Welcome back and if it's your first time, thanks for stopping by!

Welcome to the monthly Stamp 'n Blog Hop. This month's theme is all about Christmas.

If you are following along, you probably just got here from Gez's blog

I'm Terry from Airdrie, Alberta, Canada

Today I made a simple card using the Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper and the Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set. The sentiment was embossed with White Embossing Powder onto one of the Tasteful Labels dies. Of course, you can't forget some bling so I added some sequins.

And as Shelley, founder of Stampin' Up!® would say "no naked envelopes"

Tis The Season

Hey there Stampers!

Sorry, I've unfortunately been MIA recently with the postings. Life has just been so chaotic.

Today's card is one of the projects that we made for the Jingle Bell Card Creations class in October. I'm always so grateful to be able to spend a fun night with some fabulous ladies!

For this card we took the Brightly Gleaming DSP and adhered it to the Very Vanilla card base. We added a frame using the Stitched Rectangle die and we embossed the "Tis the season" sentiment just inside the frame with Copper Embossing powder. The ornaments were stamped onto the coloured cardstock and once again embossed with the copper embossing powder. They were then punched out and adhered with dimensionals to the card. The stamps and punches can be found in the Christmas Gleaming bundle. Some Rose Gold thread and Merry Christmas ribbon piece were added to the card for some layering and added interest. I hope you like it!

All the products I used on my card are listed below. Just click on the image to be taken to my website for easy ordering.

White Christmas

Hey there Stampers! Happy Monday!

Today's card is another one that was featured at my recent Jingle Bell Card Creations Class. this card was inspired by a card by Ashley.

For this card we embossed a piece of Whisper White cardstock with the new Hammered Metal Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card front. The ornament was stamped in Mint Macaron ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder. The Merry Christmas sentiment was stamped in Versarmark and embossed in black embossing powder. Unfortunately the black and mint macaron baker's twine is retired.

All the products I used on my card are listed below. Just click on the image to be taken to my website for easy ordering.

Clear Block Stamping

Hey there Bloggers!

Wow, my oldest child turned 21 today. I'm amazed at how fast time flies.

For today's cards, I used the same technique on both with different results. I'm not sure if the difference is quite visible in the picture but IRL it's definitely apparent.

I inked a clear block (Stampin' Up "E" block) with Night of Navy, Marina Mist and Soft Sky. Then I spritzed with water and stamped the background. For the card on the left, I used Whisper White cardstock and for the card on the right I used Watercolour paper. Then finished it off with the Carols of Christmas Bundle.
