Welcome back and if it's your first time, thanks for stopping by!
Welcome to the Journey to Silver Elite Blog Hop. If you are following along, you probably just got here from Xenia's blog.

For this card I was looking through the July to December Mini Catalogue and I saw a sample card that I liked. I didn't have that particular stamp set so I substituted the Snow Wonder stamp set and dies. And I CASE'd the catalogue! This is a great way to get inspiration when needed, and sometimes although you may start out with one idea the final card may not turn out looking anything like your inspiration card.
The snowflakes were embossed in white on the vellum and the sentiment was stamped randomly on the background. Add some sequins and voila!

ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the choice of color for your card base - so subtle and pretty with that snowman!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card. I think I may need to get my snowman out and play with velum and emboss some snowflakes. :-)
ReplyDeleteTerry, your snowman card is so cute! I need to try embossing on vellum more, so clever of you.
ReplyDeleteVery cute!! Love the background colour - it's so peaceful and serene for your gorgeous white embossing and the super cute snow man!! Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove your use of the Snowman on this card well done.
ReplyDeleteCute card. Love the idea to CASE the catalog. I've started looking at past year copies for ideas. Thanks for suggesting this idea.
ReplyDeleteFun card! I'm one of those rare people who loves winter. Your card makes me want to build a snowman!
