Bumblebee Vase

Hey there Stampers! Thanks for stopping by!

This is my week off from work and time to enjoy some quiet time as well as getting stuff done. It was nice to spend the day with my hubby yesterday. We enjoyed breakfast out and then an afternoon movie.

Today's card is another one CASED from Peta using the Golden Honey DSP. Don't forget that you can earn this great DSP for free when you spend $60. Message me for more details and check out Sale-a-Bration at https://www.stampinup.com/…/sale-a-bration&dbwsdemoid=20174

Honey Bee Birthday

Hey there Stampers! I'm enjoying a quick getaway to Banff for the day as the weather has finally turned here for the better.
Today's card was inspired by Peta and I just loved it so I had to CASE it and share.

This card uses the Golden Honey DSP that you can earn for free from the Sale-a-Bration flyer when you spend $60 or more. Message me for more details and check out Sale-a-Bration at https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/category/210100/sale-a-bration&dbwsdemoid=2017430
Did you know.... that you can cut out the bumblebees from the DSP using the dies! I just love the co-ordination of Stampin' Up!

Water Dribble Technique

Spring is the time for new beginnings...and I am hoping that this year will be no exception. I am very much interested in new opportunities this year. Now...for the spring part...if only that were true...it has been miserable here for the last few days and it's not looking much better for the rest of the week.

So today's technique share is a technique that I presented to my Stamper's Club last month. It is called a Water Dribble technique and it's such a simple way to create a cool background.
Take a piece of cardstock and sprinkle water from your fingers onto it. Then take a very large clear block and brayer ink all over it. Place your water dribbled cardstock upside down onto the clear block and brayer over the back of it to ink it. And voila! The original technique can be found here.
So here is my card....

I would love it if you would leave a comment below sharing your favorite simple background technique...
