Tulips Embossed

Hey there Stampers! Happy Monday!

Today's card features the Timeless Tulips stamp set. The card was CASE'd from the annual catalogue.

Heat Emboss the tulips, leaves and stems with White Embossing Powder, onto a white cardstock panel. The embossing buddy was not used so that there would be some white embossing splatters throughout the project. The sky was blended and then the grass. I started with Coastal Cabana and then would add in Balmy to make the blue not quite so bright. I did the same idea for the grass. I started at the bottom and worked up to where the sky left off. I started with Granny Apple Green and then worked in Pear Pizzazz. I splattered the card with a Bermuda Bay re-inker/aquapainter mixture by holding the brush end against the lid and flicking down towards the paper. I cleaned off the aqua painter all the way and then splattered water. I added some Linen Thread and the sentiment was stamped in Pretty Peacock and punched out with the Story Label punch. Some In Colour Faceted dots were added to the card front and the panel was adhered to the Coastal Cabana card base.

Hey there Stampers! It's Wednesday and we've made it half way through the week!

Another card from Pretty Poppies class last week. This card was CASED from the catalogue. It's great because it showcases the Peaceful Poppies DSP and Elements.

For this card we used the DSP as the background. Then we took some of the vellum embossed elements and coloured them using Poppy Parade and Old Olive Blends. These were added to the card front. The sentiment was stamped using the Poppy Parade and Rich Razzleberry markers and stamped onto the label. The Crinkle Seam Binding ribbon was added behind the label and some sequins glued to the card front.

Vellum Poppies

Hey there Stampers! Thanks for stopping by today.

This card features the Painted Poppies bundle and vellum. This was one of the cards made at my recent Pretty Poppies class.

For this card we sponged the background with Night of Navy ink. Then used Whisper White Craft Ink with the Rolling Marble technique to make a unique background. The label is Shimmery White cardstock. The poppies and leaves were embossed onto vellum and die cut, with the leaves coloured on the back in Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blend. Silver thread was added behind the label.
