Another Sneak Peek from Holiday Mini

Hi all! Sorry I haven't posted in the last few days, it has been a little busy here. But I am back with a card that I created for the Playing in Paradise Challenge #29, using punches. This card was created using all punches and was CASE'd from Jackie Topa.
It also features new products from the Holiday Mini catalogue that starts September 1.
The fireplace was made using the new Stocking Builder punch (the cuff), and on the mantel I used the corner rounder punch. The fire was made using the Two Step Bird punch and the heel from the stocking. Stockings were made using the new Frostwood Lodge Designer Series Paper, and Dazzling Details

New products from the Holiday Mini

Hi all! it has been a gorgeous but busy weekend here! This weekend we had a garage sale, I had a Card Buffet, Brandon & Blair went to X-Fest and Alexis was busy babysitting & creating items to enter for the annual Fall Fair.
Alexis actually did really well with her items and won several first, second and third place prizes. I am very proud!

Today I would like to share a couple of scrapbook pages that I created with the new Gently Falling stamp set (#123804) and Spice Cake Designer Series Paper (#124003). I also used Spice Cake Designer Buttons (#124113), Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon (#119960) and On Board Merry Medley ($122958).
The Spice Cake and Gently Falling stamp set can be found in the new Holiday Mini Catalogue that will start September 1.

Free Designer Series Paper

Hi all! Hope that you all enjoyed your long weekend and the nice weather that we have been having. I have the week off this week so I am enjoying some time to finish up some projects that have been waiting. It is also a very busy time for me as my wedding anniversary was last Friday ( I enjoyed a wonderful dinner out with my husband), today is my husband's birthday (he will be 39 today, and we are taking a day trip), Thursday we are back at skating again and dinner with Blair's parents, and Friday we are off to Banff with the kids and their friends. August 15th is also my son's 14th birthday. This time of year is probably my busiest time with Birthdays, Stampin' Up!, planning for back to school, registrations for skating and hockey, and just life in general. But I wouldn't trade a minute of it!

I wanted to share a card with you today that I CASE'D. The flower was changed up from the original as I used a Blown Glass type technique with Crystal Effects, re-inkers, and Shimmer Paint. I also created the button using punches and Crystal Effects. These are the kinds of techniques you can learn at a Stamper's Club.
