Card in a Box

Hey there Bloggers! Wow, I can't believe that it's already February. My life always seems like a whirlwind lately and before I know it another month has come and gone. 

Today's project is a Card In A Box that we made at last month's Stamper's Club. It features the new Peaceful Petals Stamp set and Watercolor Wonder DSP from the Occasions Catalogue.

Lattice Edge

Hey there Bloggers! It's Wednesday and that means only 2 more days to go until the weekend. And I can't wait for Saturday, because my favorite team the Calgary Roughnecks will be playing for the Western Division Championships in lacrosse. 

Today's card is one that we made at our April Stamper's Club meeting. It has a Lattice Fold on the inside edge and then the lattice was inked. It looks very cool in person and is actually really easy to make.

Technique Thursday!

It's Thursday!!! Only one more day until the weekend! Today I want to share with you a technique video from Stampin' Up! featuring the new Simply Scored Diagonal Plate. This plate is great for creating boxes and envelopes.
There are just so many things you can do with you Simply Scored tool and with the 1/8" scoring lines it makes it so much easier than other scoring tools. I have to say that I have used various other scoring tools and I LOVE my Simply Scored!

I'm So Excited!

This week Stampin' Up is hosting it's annual Leadership conference and although I was eligible to attend I was unfortunately not able to.
Well...some announcements have come out of Leadership that I am VERY excited about....


A new Simply Scored Diagonal plate, great for scoring boxes, envelopes, etc. This awesome new product will be available on March 1.


And a new Catalogue format will be starting this year! The mini catalogues will be replaced with 2 seasonal catalogue that will be bigger and run longer! So more time to get those products that you can't live without! The new catalogue changes will be effective June 1, 2012. YAY!
