Re-Inker Rainbow

Happy belated Canada Day! I hope you had a chance to get out and celebrate. I had a good time at the local parade and then later Saturday night we enjoyed a fabulous fireworks display.

Today's card features a Rainbow Re-inker technique created by another demonstrator (unfortunately I can't remember her name right now). This card was actually created a few months ago but I haven't had a chance to share it until now.

The technique is simple:
Using a piece of Shimmery White cardstock, put a drop of each colour of re-inker at the top of your page.
Drag the side of a credit card down through the re-inker to the bottom of the page. You can drag it straight down or move around a bit to create some waves.

Glittered Bees

Hey there Bloggers! 

I am happy to share a card that I made for a class awhile ago. It features the new Hexagons Dynamic Embossing folder as well as the Dragonfly Dreams bundle. And you'll notice that the bee wings are glittered.

Joseph's Coat Technique

Glittered Dragonfly

Today is the end of my work week, and I am very much looking forward to the weekend.

Today's card is another one from our recent Stamper's Club. I have seen so many cards using the Detailed Floral thinlits over a piece of card stock and with the dragonfly from the Dragonfly Dreams set, so I decided to create one too. We also coloured in the dragonfly using the Wink of Stella clear Glitter Brush.

Quick tip.... When you are dealing with adhering your detailed diecuts, put some Multipurpose Liquid Glue onto your Silicone Mat. Then dab your sponge into the glue and onto your diecut. This works great. Then just pop your sponge into an airtight container for use next time. The sponge will get sticky but won't get hard.
