Bendi Blooms

Hey there Bloggers!

It's February! Wow, where did January go?

I have been making an attempt to do some meal planning/meal prep. Last weekend I made a week's worth of breakfast bake for my husband and son. Now they are all set for the week.

Sunday night we had turkey for supper so last night I took all the bones and simmered it for hours for  turkey broth. Within the next couple of days I will take that broth to make up the turkey soup for the freezer. I still have lots of broth frozen from our last turkey so all of this broth will go into soup.

Today's card is the last one from our Stamper's Club last month. This is a Bendi Card.

Pretty Blooms

Hey there Bloggers!

It's Monday! I had a pretty good weekend. Saturday was spent getting some things done around the house and doing things like recycling and taking bottles to the bottle depot. Nothing spectacular. Sunday was spent doing a few things in my craft room, getting things cleaned up a bit.

I sat down on the couch around 4:30pm and found Disney's Sleeping Beauty on TV. I haven't seen it in quite awhile. Which brought up a discussion with my husband about fond memories of Sunday nights with TV tables watching Disney movies on CBC with our families while eating dinner. Did you ever do that as a family?

Today's card is another one from our Stamper's Club last week. This card idea was derived from an idea I saw on Pinterest.

Blooming

Hey there Bloggers!

We are half way to the weekend! woohoo!

This has been a fairly uneventful week so far. Tonight is our monthly Stamper's Club so I am very much looking forward to that. I have some projects that need finishing and still lots to do around the house so I expect that the rest of the week will be productive.

Today's project is one that we will be working on at our Stamper's Club tonight. The idea for the card came from a card that I saw on Pinterest

Botanical Blooms

Hey there Bloggers!

wow, it is so hard to believe that we are already half way through January. Have you been able to stick to whatever goals you've set for yourself this year? I have definitely been able to be more active, and managed to get some organizing/cleaning accomplished.

Today's project is a card that I made using the card front/sample that we made at Stampin' Up's On Stage local event that I attended in November featuring the Botanical Blooms stamp set and thinlits.

Woodlands

Hey there Bloggers!

Hope your week is off to a good start :)

I am taking advantage of the motivation that just about everyone feels at the beginning of a new year. I have taken some time to clean out my pantry, get some organization done,  and work on finishing a few projects.

Last week, I also made some meals from leftover turkey to freeze. I now have several turkey lasagnas, pasta shells filled with turkey and cheese, and turkey pot pies. As well as some different soups and regular lasagnas that were there previously.  It's nice to have some meals made ahead that we can just pull out and heat. Although I think I need a bigger freezer lol

Today's card is another one from November's Stampers Club. This one features the Woodland Embossing Folder and Guy Greetings Stamp set. I love the technique of stamping behind the embossed image.

Oh Christmas Tree

Hey there Bloggers!

We are 11 days in to the new year and I am very excited about the promise that this year brings.

Last year my blog posts were a little sporadic so my goal this year is to post more regularly.

Today's post features a Christmas card that we created at my Stamper's Club in November. Yes, it's been a while lol

Enjoy!

Water Stamped Birthday

Hey there Bloggers!

I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas. I know that I did and I am feeling very blessed at this time of year.

Today's card is another one that we did back at our October's Stamper's Club.

This card features a technique that uses water to stamp the image. It's a very simple technique, ink your paper with your preferred colour. Then spritz your stamp image with water. Stamp onto inked area. And Voila!

Enjoy!

Witch's Hat

Hey there Bloggers!

It's another late post....

This was a witch's hat that we made at our October Stamper's Club. I'm sorry I can't remember off hand where the original idea came from.

I filled these with candy to hand out on Halloween

Birthday Bash Paper Pumpkin

Hey there Bloggers!

I am trying to work through cleaning up my workshop... and working on some projects that have been sitting around for quite a while.

This post is one of those projects...

Today's project is from the May 2015 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Birthday Bundle

I case'd the face bags cause they are just so cute. There is only one set of cards and one set of bags made from the actual instructions in the kit.
