Happy Hibiscus - Craft 'n Chat

 Welcome back Stampers!

As promised, today's blog post is all about the cards from my recent Happy Hibiscus class. I love how all three of these cards turned out.

This card uses the following supplies: Melon mambo, flirty flamingo, old olive, and black inks, sentimental framing dies, wink & stella, and of course, the happy hibiscus bundle

--------------

These last two cards also feature Rub Ons, which are such an easy way to elevate your card and add an extra element without much effort.

This one features: Petal pink, calypso coral, soft sea foam and cloud cover inks and papers, and uses metallic rub ons, blending brush, daubers, and thread.

--------------

This card uses: petal pink ink, white ink, white embossing powder, basic beige paper, soft sea foam paper, black paper, gold thread, metallic rub ons, a dauber, and of course the happy hibiscus bundle.

Congratulations Card - Happy Hibiscus

Happy Wednesday Stampers!

The Happy Hibiscus bundle has been one I've had a lot of fun playing with (if you couldn't tell yet).

This particular card was inspired by Peggy Noe. Perfect for wedding season!

Check out this other card using this bundle and stay tuned for a post with more Happy Hibiscus cards from a class coming soon!

There's lots of things you can do with something like this, including creating little pockets and leaving space for photos for a mini scrapbook.

Products used: Beautiful Gallery Suite, Metallic Textures Rub Ons, Vanilla envelopes, Mossy Meadow CS, White CS, Retired dies and ribbon.

Playing Around & Final Results

I've been trying to play around a bit more, rather than only making projects for classes or specific needs. My stash of extra cards has been dwindling recently.

As you can see in this first picture, I was blending for the background. A tip for you: use a rectangular die to cut a mask to use for your background blending. For this particular card I used the retired Deckled Rectangle dies.

Supplies Used : Happy Hibiscus bundle, Mossy Meadow ink, Pretty In Pink ink, Daffodil Delight ink, sponge daubers, blending brushes, Black ink, and I had some Rustic Metallic dots in my stash that I used.
