Fall Birthday

Hey there Stampers!
Well, we have moved quickly from fall into winter here :(

So I'm rebelling and sharing a fall card today. Unfortunately, I can't recall where the inspiration for this card came from, however it was originally a birthday cake card and I've made it more of a fall birthday card.

I'm not sure that you can tell but the background Whisper White cardstock piece is embossed with the Subtle Embossing folder. Then there's a layer of Corrugated embossed Early Espresso, Crushed Curry cardstock piece and finally the Stitched Nested Label die.
The Rooted In Nature stamp set and dies are so versatile and I just love them! The tree was stamped in Early Espresso and then easily cut out using the co-ordinating die.

All the products I used on my card are listed below. Just click on the image to be taken to my website for easy ordering.

What's New at SU Blog Hop - Fall

Thanks for stopping by for the September What's New at SU Blog Hop! This month we have a fall theme. You will be visiting with Stampin' Up! demonstrators around the world as they share fun projects created with Fall in mind.

Today I'm featuring a card that was inspired by another talented demonstrator, unfortunately I'm not able to find her name. This card features the Rooted In Nature bundle.

For this card I embossed a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with the Corrugated embossing folder. I attached it to the card base to create a bit of a bridge so that it wasn't flat against the card front and to give some dimension. The tree was stamped using Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive and Crushed Curry. The small green leaves were die cut and the tree stump was fussy cut. The other leaves were die cut from Gold Foil sheet.

Hop on over to Judi's Blog next to see her fabulous Fall creation. And in case you missed it, you can go back to Tricia's blog.

Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop - Favourite Stamp Set

It's FRI-YAY!!!!!
Today we are hopping with the Stamp N’ Hop Blog Hop. And this month's blog hop
is all about our favourite stamp set or Designer Series Paper.
For my card, I decided to feature the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.

The magnolia was embossed in black onto Pretty Peacock cardstock. Then it was coloured using Whisper White Craft Ink and an Aquapainter. Once dried, I dabbed some Blushing Bride ink onto the middle of the flower to give it a little hint of colour. The sentiment was stamped just using Versamark ink.

Please be sure to continue the blog hop and stop over at Libby's blog

She has a great project to share with you. All the participants in this month’s Stamp ‘N Hop blog hop are listed at the bottom of the page.

All the products I used on my card are listed below. Just click on the image to be taken to my website for easy ordering.
