Watercoloured

 Hey there Stampers! Happy Monday!

It's a beautiful day here in Airdrie! I can't wait to go for a walk with Harley
For today's card, I watercolored the background in Fresh Freesia, then used the Honeybee Home stamp set on the Tailor Made Tag dies and the background.

You can buy the supplies for this card at https://s.tamp.in/tQ9C9C

Have a great week!

Shout out Sunday!

 Hey there Stampers!

Welcome to "Shout Out Sunday"! On these days, I'm excited to share projects that I've seen on the "inter-web" that have inspired me and I will give a shout out to the creator of that project.
Today, I wanted to share a card made by Kelli. The watercoloring combined with the DSP is perfect.

You can order the Blessings of Home bundle at

Have a great Sunday!

Christmas with Embossing Paste

Hey there Stampers! Thanks for stopping by today!

In my most recent Why'd I buy that? Facebook Live event, I showcased the Embossing Paste. For this card, I watercolored the background and then added some Shimmery White Embossing Paste. The bells and sentiment come from the Cherish the Season bundle.

Clear Block Stamping

Hey there Bloggers!

Wow, my oldest child turned 21 today. I'm amazed at how fast time flies.

For today's cards, I used the same technique on both with different results. I'm not sure if the difference is quite visible in the picture but IRL it's definitely apparent.

I inked a clear block (Stampin' Up "E" block) with Night of Navy, Marina Mist and Soft Sky. Then I spritzed with water and stamped the background. For the card on the left, I used Whisper White cardstock and for the card on the right I used Watercolour paper. Then finished it off with the Carols of Christmas Bundle.

Rainy Day

Hey there Bloggers!

This is the perfect card for today. It's a little cold and rainy. But I am definitely not complaining because it's been way too hot for the past little bit. So I am taking advantage of the opportunity to enjoy sitting under a blanket :)

This card features the Beautiful You stamp set.

Brick Wall

Hey there Bloggers!

I am writing this post from 36,000 feet as I travel home from a quick week away with the family in Quebec. It's so nice to be able to get away from work for a week but I'm not sure I'm ready to get back to it on Monday.

Today's card is one from my Stamper's Club. This card features the Brick Wall Dynamic Embossing Folder. The folder was inked and then spritzed with water. It gives it a very cool effect. The stamp set is You've Got This, which was carried over into the new catalogue.

Framed Flowers

Hey there Bloggers!

Have you ever had a segment of time just get away from you? I'm sure that we all experience that at some point or another. You're going along in your life and then you realize that it's two weeks later all of sudden, and you haven't accomplished anything.  Unfortunately that's how my life has been going for the last few weeks. I have been having some really bad back pain so I haven't been able to craft as I can't stand or sit for long periods of time. And now here I am almost a  week and a half later and I realize that I haven't posted on my blog and I'm not ready for my Open House which is in 12 days. I need some little work fairies.

Today's card was one from last month's Stamper's Club using the You've Got This stamp set. The flowers were watercoloured using watercolour pencils and blender pens.

White Craft Ink Watercolour

Hey there Bloggers! Hope you all had a good weekend and that Monday was good start to your week this week.  We have spent the weekend moving our daughter back home from Lethbridge. And taking in the Home and Garden show.

Today's card is one that we made a little while ago in the Stamper's Club. It features the White Craft Ink Watercolour technique. To be honest, this isn't my favourite card but the technique is definitely cool. Basically you emboss your image in white embossing powder, then color in the image using an Aqua Painter and white craft ink. Once the white ink is dry, colour over it using your choice of ink colour and an Aqua Painter. Once it was all completed I highlighted the rose in Dazzling Details.

You've Got This Watercoloured

Hey there Bloggers!

After a bit of a hiatus, I'm Back! LOL

Well, it's now September and the kids are going back to school. My daughter moves back to University on Labour Day. And my son... well my son is now done school. I find it to be very amazing how fast time has gone by.

I have been making plans to transfer our old home movies to DVD. Last week we hooked up the old camcorder to the tv to make sure that the cords that we have were the correct ones. So we loaded a tape and oh my goodness... my babies were under 2 years old. So funny to look back. I think this is a good time of year to look back and enjoy the memories, especially when you watch them go off to school and realize how big they've gotten.

Today's card is actually one that we did back in June during our Stamper's Club. This card features the You've Got This stamp set and some watercolouring.

Enjoy!
