Butterfly Collage

Hey there Bloggers!

Happy Hump Day!

It is so gloomy here today that I really just want to hide under the covers and watch a movie. Unfortunately, I don't think that my boss would like that idea. So instead I want to share a sunny card with you.

This card features the baby wipe technique as well as a collage background. This is such an easy design to achieve and I love the look.

I would love to know what your favourite technique is... post a comment below :)

Shout Out Sunday!

Hey there Bloggers! Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

This weekend is full of sports for us... the Calgary Roughnecks were playing last night and of course we were at that game. Thankfully the game ended in a win which made for a great end to my Saturday. Today we are catching the Daytona 500 while doing a few things around the house. And tonight is the first game of the hockey playoffs for my son.

Shout Out Sunday....This is where I post cards that have really impressed me and give a shout out to the creator of that project.

Today's card is one that I found on Splitcoast Stampers. I really like how the woodgrain background gives it dimension.

Shaker Butterfly

Hey there Bloggers! It's Wednesday... And half way to the weekend!
So what big plans do you have for the weekend? My plans include grocery shopping and hockey... I really need a life LOL

Today's project is once again using the new Butterfly framelits. This time I used them to make a shaker card. It's a very simple card with some color spritzing to give it some pop and cut through the stark white of the card.

I hope you like it...

Spritzed Butterfly

Hey there Bloggers! TGIF!

I have to admit that I am very glad that this week is over. Although I can't believe that January is over. It seems like Christmas was just yesterday. Another month means just another start to more opportunities. I can't wait to see what February will bring.

Today's project is the last of last week's Stamper's Club projects. Once again we used the Butterfly Basics stamp set and Butterfly Framelits. We took the large butterfly cut out of white cardstock and spritzed it with color.

Butterflies and Banners

Hey there Bloggers! It's hump day! Only two days left before the weekend... and unfortunately snow

Today's post is the second card from our Stamper's Club last week. Once again featuring the Butterfly Basics stamp set and Butterfly Framelits. This card was actually CASE'd. I really liked the use of the banner and layering. And the idea of using the wax paper butterfly cut out that is left over when you cut out your butterfly images.

Embossed Butterfly

Hey there Bloggers! How's your week going so far? I am just lovin' this gorgeous weather that we are having. Unfortunately we are probably going to pay for it later.

Today's card is one that we made at our Stamper's Club last week. The cards that I will be featuring this week all use the new Butterfly Basics stamp set and Butterfly Framelits.
So, for this card we took the butterfly and we embossed it using the pewter and pool party embossing powders. I also used one of the Chalk Talk Framelits as a mask and the new Chalkbox ink to create the yellow pop of color.  Then we added a little bling!

Shout Out Sunday!

Hey there Bloggers! Happy new year!

Shout Out Sunday....This is where I post cards that have really impressed me and give a shout out to the creator of that project.

Today's post is a card that features some brand new stamp sets that will be available January 6 in the Occasions catalogue and Sale-a-Bration catalogue.  I really love the simplicity of this card
